Coffee Pots

Are you like me and cannot start the day with out a coffee? Or is a mug of tea your thing?
I have a morning kitchen ritual of putting on the stove top coffee pot ( still bleary eyed ) and heating up some milk. Wouldn't your coffee taste all the better made in these cool coffee pots.
If you make coffee or tea every morning, send us in a pic of your favorite Coffeepot, Teapot or mug! Lucy has a gorgeous one here!

Enamel Ware

In my Kitchen
I have a nice little collection of thrifted enamelware scattered about my kitchen.
My favourite and most useful is my red pot.
A lot of it ends up in the garden growing succulents or just hanging around.Orange Owl
Tracey from thrift.nest sew likes enamel. So does Lucy from The Bowerbird. And Sydney designer Beattie Landser even had an exhibition of her enamelware collection. For a drool worthy peek at a great collection of vintage enamel ware , check out H is for Home's flickr pics!

Alison's City Kitchen

Here is a snapshot of contempory jeweller Alison's city kitchen....just look at the view from the kitchen window.
Alison writes....."It's a very little kitchen, but it's just for me.
The silver plated teapot in the window isn't used for making tea (the handle gets too hot); I keep my detergent in it.
Most things are black and white with bit of pink and some sweetie wrappers, the smarties are from the little packets in the 1980's.I rang the company and they dropped the cardboard with the packets printed on them before they were cut, over to my house".
I can't believe no one else has thought of this.....instant pop Art!

Kara's Rustic Kitchen

Kara from Kara Smith handmade handbags sent me a pic of her "rustic" kitchen in Wentworth Falls. Rustic can be quaint and vintage, but according to Kara, it can also be annoying.
I am liking Kara's set of canisters, and just so happen to have some similar! I do much prefer her multi coloured lids though.Do you have a cool retro set of canisters in your kitchen? Send us a picture as we would love to see them!
And speaking of kitchens, Tania from Super Ninon has added a picture of the Betty Jo kitchen in her latest post. I can't tell you what a HUGE fan I am of her work, so yippee to that!

Mon Alisa's Kitchen

Ahh, it's lovely to be back home after a week away in sunny Sydney. I have had some great submissions for "You Will Always Find Me", the first being from Alisa from Mon Alisa Design. Her cute, vintagy kitchen is full of junkshop finds and clearly demonstrates Alisa's artistic flair! Yay for mismatched kitchen chairs!I have a love affair with bird cages (preferably empty as I just feel so sorry for caged birds).
An old timey cash register .......I would be continually tempted to go "Ka-ching"Cute oven (those canisters look kinda familiar!)

Tracey from thrift.nest.sew's Kitchen

Thanks to everyone for jumping on board "You Will Always Find Me"
Tracey from thrift.nest.sew, has an adorable Kitchen cabinet with those curvy ends I love. Finished in retro laminex and adorned with various thrifted goodies she has found in her opshop travels. Can you spy the decorative etched glass doors. Love!

If you still have some original kitchen cupboards or a cool vintage kitchen dresser, we would love to see them!
