Enamel Ware

In my Kitchen
I have a nice little collection of thrifted enamelware scattered about my kitchen.
My favourite and most useful is my red pot.
A lot of it ends up in the garden growing succulents or just hanging around.Orange Owl
Tracey from thrift.nest sew likes enamel. So does Lucy from The Bowerbird. And Sydney designer Beattie Landser even had an exhibition of her enamelware collection. For a drool worthy peek at a great collection of vintage enamel ware , check out H is for Home's flickr pics!

  1. I love it too but sadly dont have any pieces I just dont seem to find them when I op.

  2. Oooohh this blog of yours is right up my alley - what a fab idea! I am so envious of your retro orange kitchen tiles and green cupboards - so gorgeous! Is the blog name in reference to the 80's classic 'you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties' by Jona Lewie by any chance?!?!..... Lucy x

  3. Yes,I have stolen the first part of the chorus from Mr Lewie's song !!!

  4. I adore a bit of enamelware!! Hooray for their usual $1 a pop. A friend of mine uses them for her cats food bowl, and it upsets me everytime I lay my eyes on them on the laundry floor hehe

  5. Beatutiful pieces - does anyone know where I can buy vintage enamelware in Sydney.
