Vintage Aprons!

Just popping in to update the GIVEAWAY! I am happily adding another item to the prize...a never used bluey/orangy vintage apron that will bring out the 50's housewife in you.I am partial to the special fabrics in vintage aprons, but never seem to remember to wear them when I'm getting down and dirty in the kitchen!
I will be drawing the winner on Wednesday night, so you have a few more days to enter!

  3. There is alot of history in the humble apron! The first thing we sewed at school was of course a gingham apron - and then we embroidered it with cross stitches in the squares! Gosh these are lovely!

  4. Not that I need much inspiration to bring out the fifties housewife in me. I think I have morphed into my own mother sometimes. With five kids and a penchant for wearing frocks I find I do wear an apron. And ones with pockets are just too handy!! In the words of Paul Keating, "you got me." Count me in!
